Our baby girl is 9 MONTHS! It seems so weird to say. I am working on a photo book right now of her first year and as I go back through the newborn pictures I am just in awe of how much she has changed and grew in such a short time. Amazing! People are constantly telling me to enjoy each stage so much because they change so quickly and it's so true. I am having so much fun with her and every stage we think "oh let's just freeze her here but it's so great." (There are a few exceptions of course as I am sure any parent would agree....teething...colds.. separation anxiety...those are the not so fun moments!) I just am amazed at how fun she is. We are totally in love with our little Norah.
9 months is a very interactive fun age. Her personality is coming out full force and she is a funny little girl. Sometimes when she is eating she will do something and it just makes her laugh at herself and she'll just keep laughing which of course makes me laugh and then she keeps at the whole process. She thinks she's funny! She's like her daddy on this one...he'll tell jokes and crack himself up! Norah has this quality.
Some other things she's up to these days:
~16 pounds 7 ounces--27 inches long~ We have a little one that is holding up the bottom of the height and weight charts! But she is and has been very healthy so we are so thankful for that.
~Rolls to where she wants to go--steamrolls all over the place
~Crawls backwards--hasn't figured out forward yet and when she gets onto our hardwood floors she can get moving quickly BACKWARDS! Adorable.
~Pulls herself up to standing and walks sideways along things
~Constantly wants to be on the move...not as many snuggles this days...there is just to much to see and explore
~Instinctively has been grabbing our hands, pulling herself up, and then starts walking. She wants to walk so badly and is practicing so much. I would think her little legs would get tired but oh no she just wants to walk all the time! I think this will happen soon and my world will forever be changed!
~Babbles so much. She has so much to say. Instead of "dada" it usually sounds more like "dad". She makes the "k" sound like she is trying to say cat and will look at the cat while she is doing it. And we swear she's been saying something that sounds very much like "ok." I say this a lot I've realized so she hears it a lot---maybe we are losing our minds but it truly sounds like it.
~Loves being outside--this makes us very happy parents!
Those are the big things right now. As for the rest of life for us it is good. We are loving the warm weather and being able to be outside walking, running, hiking, biking, relaxing, gardening, and relaxing on the deck with friends. It feels like summer! Love it!

We were out on the deck on morning playing and I put her in the laundry basket and she grabbed on and pulled herself right up and looked at me like "now what do I do?"

Who would have thought the best toys really aren't toys? This cardboard box was a favorite until she started pulling little pieces off and trying to eat them!

Enjoying the Marne Memorial Day Parade....I mean how can you not?!?!?!

Loves to drink her water...she wants to take that sippy cup everywhere lately so one night it even made it's way into bathtime!

You just never know when you might need some crawling knee-pads!
Sneaky!
Lunch-time on the deck is always a treat around here...and a little messy!

It's hard to believe that your baby girl is 9 months old already!!! Time sure is flying by but she is lovely and you are a wonderful mom! And I'm sure Randy is a pretty superfly dad as well.
Thanks for keeping us posted on your life and your little one!
